Supporting Scientific Research and Education
The Hellenic Archaeological Exploration Society began as an AHEPA National Project in 2019. The charter of the organization is to assist research and education with imaging technology. The HAES is dedicated to also assisting non profit organizations and foundations with services that require the budgets of commercial enterprices.
The Hellenic Exploration Society is partnered with Ilios Remote Sensing, LLC and Norsk Remote Sensing, LLC to expand its support of science, archaeology, research, and education through the digitization of terrestrial sites and artifacts.
The HAES, Ilios, and Norsk are working together to provide digitization services via laser scanning and photogammetry to institutions in Greece and in the northwest region of the United States.
